This page explains what Kitchen Kings & Queens keeps about you, who can see it, and how to have it fixed or removed. We wrote it in plain words. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@kkqpickleball.com.
Who we are
Kitchen Kings & Queens (KKQ) is run by Michael and JP in Olongapo City, Philippines. We use this app to run open play for our clubs, KKQ and Phōs Pickleball. When this page says “we”, it means us.
What we keep about players
- Your name, as it appears on the club’s participant list (for example from Reclub), or as the organizer typed it.
- Your games at each open play: who you played with and against, which team won, and the score when the organizer enters one.
- When you checked in, took a rest or left during an open play.
- A grade the organizer sets (such as Beginner or Intermediate), so games stay balanced. Only organizers see grades. They never appear on the players’ pages.
- If the organizer pairs you with someone, such as your partner, that pairing.
Players don’t make an account. We don’t ask for your email, phone number or birthday.
What we keep about organizers
- Your name, your email, and which club you organize for.
- Your password, stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody can read it, including us.
- Club details you add: the club’s name, description, logo and Reclub link.
Who can see it
- The players’ live page and stats pages. Anyone with the link sees the names of the players at that open play, who is playing and waiting, and wins and losses. A player’s stats page shows their record, recent games, and who they played with most.
- These links use long random codes, so they can’t be guessed, and we ask search engines not to list them.
- Organizers see everything about their own club’s events, including grades.
- We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.
Cookies
- kkq_me: when you tap your name on the live page, this remembers which player you are on that phone, for up to a year. Tap “Not you?” to clear it.
- A session cookie and a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN) keep the site working and safe, and keep organizers logged in. They last up to 12 hours.
- Remember me keeps an organizer logged in on that phone for up to about 13 months, or until they log out.
We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. Our fonts load from our own server, not another company’s.
Where it’s kept, and for how long
- Everything is stored on our web host’s servers (Hostinger).
- While you use the site, our server notes your IP address and browser type with your session, for security. They’re deleted after the session ends. Like most websites, our host also keeps standard server logs.
- Game results and records are kept so the all-time stats work, until you ask us to remove them.
- Emails you send us stay in our inbox.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you can ask to see what we keep about you, have it corrected, or have it removed. Email us at hello@kkqpickleball.com.
To remove you, we replace your name in every past game and standing (for example with “Former player”), so the other players’ records still add up.
If you think we’ve handled your information wrongly, you can also contact the National Privacy Commission (opens in a new tab).
Players under 18
If a player is under 18, a parent or guardian can email us at any time to correct or remove the player’s name and records.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top first. That includes anything new, such as analytics, ads or payments.
